Our activities do far more than fill a diary. For many members they are the only regular social contact outside the family home, and a chance to make real friendships.
Dates, times and venues change, so please get in touch or check our Facebook group for what’s on.
Days and nights out
Friday night events including bowling, ice skating, climbing, trampolining, cinema, karting, laser tag and theatre trips, plus day trips and school holiday activities such as wildlife parks, archery, water sports, pantomime and our Christmas party. We also run small-group gaming, role-play and arts and crafts nights.

Pool teams and more sport
Our disability pool teams play in local leagues in Medway and Maidstone. Members also enjoy swimming, darts, table tennis, archery, badminton and more, all at a pace that suits each person.
Alpaca walks
Calm, outdoor animal-assisted sessions at Lower Bush Alpacas in Cuxton, which help members relax, build trust and grow in confidence.
Virtual support hub
Our support hub now runs by phone, email and online, so you can get help without having to travel. We can help with:
- Benefits advice, including PIP, DLA, Universal Credit and Direct Payments
- CV writing, job searching and interview preparation
- Advice on autism and finding autism-friendly places and activities
- Signposting to specialist services when you need them
Call 07506 114611 or email office@medwaypuzzles.co.uk to get started.
One-to-one outreach
Some people are too anxious to join a group straight away. Our outreach team works one-to-one or in small groups to build everyday skills, such as travelling independently, using public transport, ordering food and using community facilities, until people feel ready to join in.
For parents and carers
Monthly coffee mornings and support groups with specialist guest speakers, a chance to share experiences with people who understand, and a monthly newsletter.
Schools and training
We visit around 25 schools to talk with SEN pupils, teachers and parents about the support Puzzles offers. We also run training in autism awareness, FASD and first aid for members, families and volunteers.
Over-18s comedy club
Accessible comedy nights with our partners Much Laughter CIC.
What does it cost?
We ask for a donation towards each activity where people can afford it. Free places are always available for anyone who can’t pay, and for large families. Nobody misses out because of money.
